Narae Kim brings French pastry and Korean sensibility into conversation

At the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, Korean pastry chef Narae Kim signs a new edition of La Biscuiterie. Born in Korea, she revisits the great French classics — profiterole, pear tart and vanilla flan — with an eye shaped by another culture of taste.

Contrasts, textures and balance are at the heart of this menu. Pims Rosaces with pistachio, corn and pecan sit alongside familiar desserts, while a creation of citrus, yoghurt and herbs brings a touch of freshness.

This meeting of French traditions and Korean sensibility illustrates Asian soft power in gastronomy. At the heart of a Paris palace hotel, Narae Kim introduces a singular culinary style, without erasing the sweet landmarks guests know.

La Biscuiterie, daily from 3 pm to 6 pm from 20 October 2026.

Café Jeanne, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, 5 rue de la Paix, Paris 2nd.
