EAST EDIT collects as little data as possible, only for the uses described here. No data is sold or used for advertising.

Contact form

Name, outlet or company (optional), email and message, to answer your request (press, interview, partnership). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us. Retention: at most three years after the last exchange.

Cookies

This site uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement. The only cookie keeps the editorial team signed in to the admin area; it is strictly necessary and does not concern visitors, which is why no consent banner is shown.

YouTube videos only load if you click “Play the video” (privacy-enhanced mode). YouTube may then set its own cookies, under its own policy.

Security and hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, acting as a processor; any transfers outside the European Union are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. To protect the form against abuse, the IP address of submissions is kept for 24 hours at most.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, object to its processing or ask for its portability by writing to contact@east-edit.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
